Future Cargo Aircraft Imitates Ufo Design
Claims Unidentified flying object sightings (UFO) has been synonymous with flying saucers. Later, we'll more often see flying saucers in the sky, but that does not mean aliens visit the Earth more frequently.

As rumored, Monday, October 4, 2010, Australian companies are developing Skylifter transportation equipment heavy cargo carriers that are environmentally friendly.

The aircraft was named 'Skylifter' - the same as the name of the manufacturers - like a hot air balloon and flying saucer-like design.

Design of 'UFO' will allow the vehicle to overcome strong winds and can still drive the distance to 2,000 kilometers with a speed of 45 knots or 83 kilometers per hour - this is based on experiments performed.

Skylifter can transport goods amounted to 150 tons. This vehicle is expected can be realized within three years.

Meanwhile, as published on The Economist website, Skylifter made to overcome various obstacles in the transportation of cargo.

Moreover, the existence rail and highway are limited. Ordinary cargo plane is also very limited, depending on the shape and size. Moreover, the runway is also limited.

The use of large helicopters, Mi-26 or Sikorsky S-64 Skycrane also hindered maximum weight. Mi-26 heavy maximum of 20 tones, while Sikorsky S-64 Skycrane can carry cargo weighing 9 tons.

Aircraft that is designed by Aeronautical Company, Skylifter is claimed as the perfect solution to transport cargo.

'Skylifter' not only able to lift heavy goods component, even one building at a time - start from hospitals building in rural areas, disaster relief center, till a luxury cruise aircraft.

Except its wings that resemble a flying saucer, 'Skylifter' also uses propeller device called Voith-Schneider - similar to a paddle wheel.
