In the first account of minerals on singular planet, Nasa's Mars drifter has found discolor that bears a gaudy air to the weathered, volcanic clay of Hawaii, say scientists.
The drifter, named Shortage, uses an x-ray imager to say the infinitesimal structures of crystals in the Martian discolor. It was the first time the technology, positive as x-ray diffraction, was second hand to analyse discolor not on Realm.
