Ufo Sightings Mufon Case Closed Kansas Witness Describes Silent Rectangular Object At 500 Feet On May 16 2013

SEPTEMBER 12, 2013 - UNITED STATES - A Kansas witness at Wichita reported watching a silent, low flying, rectangular-shaped object with lights that moved slowly about 500 feet overhead according to testimony in Case 47454 closed as an Unknown, the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) announced September 11, 2013. The witness stepped outside about 10:30 p.m. on May 16, 2013, when the object was first seen. "It was flying very low and had no sound, five lights in a triangle, warped rectangle shape with a red, pulsating light in the center," the witness stated. The object was moving from west to east over the west area of Wichita while other air traffic was seen. "I saw other airplanes in the area and also saw and heard jet aircraft very high in altitude. All the planes I saw in the area had flashing red and blue lights with strobe-like characteristics." The witness described odd lighting on the object. "This object had a very slow, pulsating red and orange light in the center and looked very abnormal and different than any other aircraft I've seen before." This case was investigated by Kansas Field Investigators Stan Seba and Raymond Williams. "According to the witness, the object was triangular in shape with yellow/gold/copper lights at each corner and around the parameter of the object with a red light in the center of the object," Seba stated. "From the witness point of view at the time of the event the object was the size of a golf ball. The witness estimates the actual size of the object to be anywhere from 30-100 feet in width/length." Seba said "the witness estimated that the object was flying at an altitude under 500 feet." Wichita is the largest city in Kansas, located in the south-central part of the state along the Arkansas River, population 382,368.
