I was reading Trish and Rob's blog and their post Dreaming UFOs and it reminded me of something a friend told me quite a few years ago. For various reasons I'll have to call him by another name: James.

James told me of a dream he had about seeing a UFO, at least he thinks it was a dream but isn't absolutely sure.

He was standing in his garden late one evening. It was summer and the sky was clear and quite light. His house is one of many in a row, all next to each other.

He looked up and, as if from nowhere, he saw what he described as a UFO, but it was massive in size. The vehicle was much wider in circumference than his house. It hovered directly above his rooftop but was completely silent and seemed to cast a shadow over his own house and the houses on either side. Obviously anyone else nearby would also have seen this UFO.

He described it as a silvery-grey colour with what looked to be round windows beneath, perhaps a dozen and each glowed with a dull light. These were in a circular pattern around the edge of the UFO.

The vehicle stayed absolutely still for an indeterminable period and James felt affixed to where he was standing and developed a sense of light headedness. Then suddenly the UFO was gone. It just disappeared. No movement it simply vanished.

James went indoors and the next thing he was aware of was waking the next morning but remembering his dream.

After a few days though he began to wonder if what he saw was actually for real and not a dream. He couldn't make up his mind. One minute he was sure it was a dream but then something seemed to click in his mind and he thought it had actually happened.

James asked his neighbours if they had seen or even heard anything on that particular evening but they said that they hadn't.

Several years later, after the incident, James came up with a theory that perhaps we are somehow programmed to forget a range of happenings in our lives. Things that perhaps wouldn't be accepted by the world at large.

The only thing I can relate to this theory personally is a 'dream' or 'reality' I had as a child of about 7 or 8 and is nothing to do with UFOs or anything spooky or spiritual.

I believe I saw the road outside of where I lived with my parents covered with small insect like creatures perhaps akin to flying ants. There were thousands of them and the whole road was completely covered so that it was impossible to see the surface below. I'm sure I saw these 'insects' in reality but my parents didn't nor did anyone else. In this case, being programmed to forget, seems pointless... or maybe it isn't, who knows.

In 1967, an unidentified object was witnessed above the ocean by many of the residents of Shag Harbour. Forty six years later, a new book chronicling that infamous night, and the effects it has had on those who were there, has launched.

Impact to Contact: The Shag Harbour Incident is a new book by authors and UFO investigators Chris Styles and Graham Simms, which is a follow-up to Styles previous book on the Shag Harbour incident, Dark Object. The new book covers 20 years of investigations made by Styles.

"It was time again, between new research and things that hit the cutting-room floor the first time around, to do another work," says Styles.

The Shag Harbour Incident, for those unaware, is a series of purported UFO sightings off the south shore of Nova Scotia on Oct. 4, 1967, where eye witnesses watched an unknown craft come down from the sky and submerge itself under the Atlantic Ocean. Searches were conducted, but no craft or debris were officially found.

"Dozens, even hundreds of people witnessed something coming down out of the sky that night," says Simms. "All over the province, there were in fact separate sightings in addition to the Shag Harbour sighting."...

Latest Ufo Crash Incident In Manitoba Seen By Many And Reported By Different Individuals

Mysterious lights were seen over Jackhead Reservation in Manitoba, Canada last week. UFOlogists suspect a UFO crash into Lake Winnipeg as military forces allegedly spotted on snowmobiles pulling a massive disc out of the lake. But in response to reports about the UFO CRASH and recovery, Canadian Forces said it was merely a military training exercise. Seriously?

On Wednesday night, February 18, reports started to make rounds on social media about the lights over Lake Winnipeg. According to the Facebook post by Brent Mancheese, there were reports about the UFO crash on the Jackhead reserve in Manitoba, Canada. Allegedly, vehicles of the Canadian Military were lined up on the north shore. Taking pictures in the scene was strictly prohibited, and the army even issued a threat to anybody who tried to do so. Lots of eyewitnesses were in the area. These witnesses apparently saw a round object being hauled across the lake and pulled out by snowmobiles and bombardier. Eight fishermen reported the incident, but Mancheese wonders why the authorities did not let the media know if it was a plane crash.

In another report, bad thing happened to one witness with a camera. It said that a disc shaped craft was spotted diving into the frozen lake. At least one witness managed to get a photo of the craft. Unfortunately, that person has since been detained by the Canadian military.

According to Lt.-Col. Paul Davies, the Canadian army was taking part in Exercise Arctic Bison 2015, a program that trains military personnel to handle emergencies in harsh environments. Was UFO crash emergency included in the training? Davies said not so.

Davies, the commanding officer of 38 Territorial Battalion Group, explained that there were no aliens or a UFO and just his friends in the Air Force helping them on this exercise.

So, what about those UFO reports? Davies said that it was a craft with quick takf capabilities. He explained that it may have appeared like it was going straight up in the air from a distance, but in reality it wasn't.

This was a very eerie experience and even my hair was standing on end through the entire time and felt as if there was highly dense static electricity in the air!What the heck do you think this is people?
