Dr Steven Greer Joined Art Bell For A Discussion On Et Contact And New Energy Technology

The founder of the Disclosure Project, Dr. Steven Greer joined Art Bell for a discussion on ET contact, and new energy technology. Greer said that meetings at the UN with were held in February, and the subject of UFOs was addressed. Of the some 30 nations in attendance, it was widely accepted that we've been visited, he reported.

However, the United States uses "scare tactics" to slow down disclosure among other nations, he commented. One reason for America's continued UFO secrecy is that they don't want to reveal the technology they've gleaned from studying interstellar craft, Greer noted. The US has a covert space program that has used advanced weapons to occasionally shoot down UFOs, he added.

Greer has formed the non-profit Orion Project to seek out and support new, clean energy technologies. He also spoke about his work with CSETI, and described his team's encounter at Mount Shasta with an unusual electromagnetic signal-- a multidimensional tone that evoked a 3-D shape and "wrapped around the group."

Calling All Shag Harbour Ufo Witnesses

In 1967, an unidentified object was witnessed above the ocean by many of the residents of Shag Harbour. Forty six years later, a new book chronicling that infamous night, and the effects it has had on those who were there, has launched.

Impact to Contact: The Shag Harbour Incident is a new book by authors and UFO investigators Chris Styles and Graham Simms, which is a follow-up to Styles previous book on the Shag Harbour incident, Dark Object. The new book covers 20 years of investigations made by Styles.

"It was time again, between new research and things that hit the cutting-room floor the first time around, to do another work," says Styles.

The Shag Harbour Incident, for those unaware, is a series of purported UFO sightings off the south shore of Nova Scotia on Oct. 4, 1967, where eye witnesses watched an unknown craft come down from the sky and submerge itself under the Atlantic Ocean. Searches were conducted, but no craft or debris were officially found.

"Dozens, even hundreds of people witnessed something coming down out of the sky that night," says Simms. "All over the province, there were in fact separate sightings in addition to the Shag Harbour sighting."...

Now they have a second strange video, seeming to show a hovering, ghostlike alien. The second case is of a swing set in Argentina that seems to swing on its own -- but only one of the three seats. Legend has it that the swing is haunted. In Argentina, the team talks to the original witness, then they try pulling the swing with mono-filament wire. It looks good, but you can see the line, plus the swinging swing is ongoing; surely no one would hang around for this long a hoax. Next, they build a duplicate swing set right next to the "haunted" one. But, when set in motion, the new swing does not keep going like the original. Next, they put up an air-supported dome to isolate the swing and use a fan to simulate various wind directions. Doing this, they discover the center seat is slightly wider than the other two, and the right angle of wind sets it going while the other to remain stationary. (They dont mention that the swing stopped swinging when they put up their dome.) So, no hoax, just normal fluctuating wind conditions. In Milton Florida, the team talks to the people supposedly being harassed by these "aliens;" they also claim worm infestations on their lawn. The homeowner has set up elaborate mirrors (and even strobe lights) to fool the aliens into thinking that they are not being filmed. It seems ripe for a hoax to me, but the crew takes it very seriously. First they use an art mannequin and try to replicate the alien in the bathroom -- they come pretty close. Next, they set up to see if cast shadows (from a coat rack) could cause an optical illusion of the floating "alien." Close, but not close enough. So they set up a puppet to fake the video. This is closer, but not as eerie as the original. This "could "be either an illusion or an intentional hoax, but they decide to do a stakeout and see if they can find any evidence on their own. They set up lasers and one-way mirrors, and monitor the homeowner. They get electrical interference, the homeowner thinks he hears things, and they find a mass of worms on the lawn. Did they cause their own electrical interference? Is there something paranormal going on here. Voice analysis says the homeowner is telling the truth -- but Im still not sure I trust that tech. The case remains baffling; the homeowners seem to believe something is going on. But what? I wonder if local electrical interference could be setting up a hallucinatory "fear cage" effect for the people living in the house. Not a bad episode. The swing debunking was really well done. But the "alien" problem would seem to require more long-term surveillance. (Something I wish was routinely done with contactees.) Back in 1994, I built a house in a new subdivision, one that
was way out in the boonies, cornfields as far as the eye could see. It was going to be a bedroom community on the outskirts of Kansas City. The developer was going to put in a golf course and a lake. I was one of five builders selected to build it out, a twenty year project. I and another builder jumped right in and started building, the other three builders backed out. I finished my house and so did the other builder, I was about to start more houses when the developer went bankrupt. Couldn't sell my house so I moved into it. Ended up living there for ten years. The first 3 years we had the whole undeveloped subdivision and hundreds of acres of cornfields to ourselves. This is the house where I wrote my first book, In League with a UFO. A new developer came in and built out the subdivision after it had sat there for 3 years with no activity. The bank was going to let me take it over for a song (little cash) but I was busy building in other subdivisions and passed up on one of those once in a lifetime opportunities.
The new developer couldn't build houses fast enough and sold them before they were finished. The golf course and lake never got put in. But the subdivision came to life and was filled with new families and school age children nearly overnight.

One day my daughter came home from school and asked me what
a UFO was. She was in grade school, and said that a boy on the school bus, a neighbor that lived across the street from us, who was a year or two older than her, said that he saw a UFO parked over our house. So she wanted to know what a UFO was. I gave her a vague explanation and she never brought it up again. When we had the whole place to ourselves, UFOs were more frequent, and the stars on a cloudless night were so plentiful one could reach up and grab a handful. Not so, where I
live now, city lights hide them. The painting is a description of the UFO over my house that the boy described to my daughter. Haven't lived in the house for ten years but I still own it. I can't seem to sell the house, so if anyone is interested let me know. Be forewarned, it's been contaminated by extraterrestrials and is now haunted by Space Aliens!
