A man named Peter Harbrown said he was above to capture the footage of the said light using his mobile phone at about 8:30 pm.
A citizen also claimed that he sighted the light when he and his friends tried to take photos with their cellphones but were not able to do so since all of their phones went out by the time the UFO was overhead.
Other residents in Gladstone confirmed that they saw the same light during that time. One of them recounted how the UFO, which he described as a bright orange light, moved without noise. He added that the UFO appeared to be stationary before changing position from time to time. He also claimed that his other neighbors saw the strange object and was sure that it does not appear to be a plane nor showed like a satellite.
A visitor from Sydney, Natalie Vedder said she was with her brother in Booth Ave when she saw very bright orange light in the sky that stopped for about five minutes. She described that the said light moved like a flame and that it was very large.
The same object was also described by a camper at the Tannum Caravan Park on Millenium Boulevard. Jade Watters saw a light in orange color moving very slowly across the sky.
The camper wanted to film the movements of the flying object, which she believed to be a UFO.
